The cellars are equipped for a production of 25,000 bottles mainly sold in the North of Italy and in some foreign countries.

The present cellar dates back at the end of the 50s: the fist harvest which has been made here was the memorable one of 1961. The building is divided into rooms dedicated to wine aging, with fiberglass and steel tanks (the old concrete tanks, which aren’t used anymore, still show off); rooms dedicated to long aging for firm wines, into oak barrels (tonneux and barrique); and storage and bottling rooms.
Every Sunday morning is the scene of an evocative guided tour and a candle-lit wine tasting.


Vellano family has been dealing with wine for 4 generations at least: a document found into the town hall archive indicates that Maurizio’s great-grandfather was already a wine broker in far 1867.
