CURIOSITY: The name derives from a particular episode: during the restoration of the ancient cellar, it was found a bronze statuette dedicated to the Egyptian god Osiri, God of death and life, as well as the protagonist of a myth symbolized by winemaking.
Thanks to some studies, it was also discovered that in the times of the Savoys the Grignolino was considered one of the great wines of Piedmont; only later in the years it was relegated to a secondary role by time and fashions. Just as Osiri is the god of birth, this Grignolino represents the rebirth of a great wine.
