Historical winetasting

During the last renovation of Ca’ San Sebastiano, in the Osteria, also called Cantinone, a statuette of the Egyptian god Osiris was found and since then research has begun to explain how and why this statuette arrived in the small hamlet of Castel San Pietro.
The journey back in history took us to the end of the tenth century AD. to Aleramo, the founder of the Monferrato marquisate, we passed through the 1200 Crusades to reach the Thirty Years War, followed the traces of the mysterious Prophet Al Mansur and finally returned to the statuette of Osiris.

But what is the common denominator, the common thread, of all these stories and events?
It could only be wine, the nectar of the gods!

This is where our historical tasting comes from, a journey through history and wine to be savored in our cellar on Saturday afternoons from 16 to 18. By reservation only. The event will be organized only if the minimum number of participants is reached (minimum 4 people – maximum 14 people).
